There is a reason to be jolly even when we are in the midst of recession, poverty, and corruption. You read it right! Thanks to the harassment (lol) and pressure from the Senate, the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) has ordered big guns Smart, Globe, and Sun to triple the shelf life of prepaid credits for mobile phones. This will take effect at exactly 12:01 am of July 19, 2009 which is any minute now hehehe. On the other hand, those who have enrolled their credits to unlimited calls or text will not be covered, but only that of regular prepaid load.

Chip Tsao, Satire my Ass!
Wise men says "if you have nothing nice to say, it is best to keep quiet", but fools says, "if you have a contradicting opinion, better keep it to yourself". If I follow those wise men and fools sayings then maybe I don't have this blog or maybe I am considered a living dead. I mean, whose opinion, nice or bad, wouldn't want to be heard or read? Chip Tsao's, best guess hahaha!
I researched stuff about him and it seemed that he is a famous writer in Asia but definitely not well loved by the people of Asia, even with his fellow Chinese. When I read his very controversial article "The War at Home and other articles he made in the past, I understood why and didn't even question the anger of the people. I was not upset that he called the Philippines "a nation of servants" because it is true and Filipinos must learn to accept that fact. Isn't it that most of us prefer to work for another country because of high paying jobs? We go there to serve and not to put up a business, because if that is the case then why leave the Philippines? I think the reason why most of us are upset is because it came from somebody's else's mouth, from a foreigner, a Chinese guy, of all races hahaha trust me we are being punked here! Another thing, the Spratly Island claim should end. I was looking at the map and I myself, don't believe it belongs to us (sorry guys). Now, what really upset me is that after the article was posted and taken out, HK magazine and Chip Tsao (To Kit in real life) claimed that it was all "Satire" meaning 1. the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc., 2. a literary composition, in verse or prose, in which human folly and vice are held up to scorn, derision, or ridicule. Ok, here is the thing, Filipinos are not stupid, do you really believe that using the "satire" excuse made us calm or made us think that "oh wow he is a genius writer!", it just made matters worst. The Philippines' second language is English, we speak and write English very well so don't you dare tell us that maybe we have misunderstood what you wrote. And maybe, most of our mothers and Filipino women work for Chinese families as housemaids/nannies but atleast, we are not responsible for the proliferation of lead and melamine that caused death to many children and adults all over the world. I will never be ashamed that I belong to a nation of servants, because these servants you, Chip Tsao, are insulting, are the people who brought up great Filipino nurses, doctors, teachers, engineers, and seamen working around the globe.
To Chip Tsao, you may have apologized but you don't have any idea what kind of war you just have started ... we will be keeping an eye on you!

Tayong Dalawa - the shocking twist
I dont like to spoil everyone's addiction to the very popular primetime soap opera of ABS CBN "Tayong Dalawa" but I am going to spoil the fun anyways hahaha. The twist of this show is this. Dave played by Jake Cuenca and Jay-R played by Gerald Anderson are twin brothers, both are real sons of Marlyn (Cherry pie Picache). Jake is the twin brother of Gerald in the show. The one that died is actually the son of Ingrid played by Agot Isidro. How did it happened? Lola Gets (Gina Pareno) sold the baby to Helen Gamboa maybe because Helen knew that the baby is very weak, the baby eventually died as we all know. A reliable source told me this so it is really up to you if you are going to hate or like me ... well, who cares?

Nyoy Volante owes Nina 1.6 million pesos!
At the new showbiz talk show SNN over at ABS CBN, Kris Aquino interviewed Nina and finally she spoke about Nyoy Volante. I was surprised that all this time, Nina have been trying to keep mum about the real score between him and his ex boyfriend whom she said owes her a whooping 1.6 million pesos. She said it started with 600 thousand then when they officially became an item, Nyoy's mom started borrowing more money which all sum up to the 1.6 M.The Soul Siren also revealed that when they broke up, she asked Nyoy about the money and all they paid her were bouncing checques. These events made her family decided to bring this matter to court. When Kris asked the real reason why the two broke up, she said financial issue was on of the reasons which she didn't bother to elaborate. All this time, I thought Nina was the bad girl because Nyoy seemed to be the broken hearted. Poor Nina, I hope she gets her money back and to you Nyoy, shame on you! It's true then, love moves in mysterious ways hehehe!

That thing you call Love
I have always believed that the meanest thing a man can do to a girl is to make her fall in love so deeply and never catch her when she falls. We all became gullible at one point of our lives but trusting and believing to one's promise should not at all be considered stupidity. Have you ever wondered why that whenever we ask somebody who is in love, to describe in words what they feel, we often get the response "It is indescribable"? ... well, because it is.
Metaphorically, falling in love is like going to war without any shield or armor. Defenseless. The only thing you are holding on to is your heart, always ready to get broken. Love is not made of deceit, but one can deceive another in order to get love. Love doesn't care about what we feel for the future but it is primarily concerned with what we feel now. Contrast to what others claim, love is not power, it is a weakness. It is the one who eats your anger, the one that feeds jealousy, the thief in the night, the persuasion to invade the naive. They say real love isn't based on how much love you receive but on how much love you are willing to give and how much of yourself you are willing to sacrifice. Thus, the person who always gives more than what is appropriate and often waits for true love to get in return, ends up getting hurt.
I think love is a sphere. Inside is a variety of emotions, a circus of circumstances and a dash of heartache.

Why I don't like Kris Aquino.
If there is one showbiz personality that I don't like to see every day on tv, I say Kris Aquino. Oh my gosh, she is so overexposed, like her face is on tv 24/7! Whenever I hear her voice in the morning, I just go nuts because she sounds like a squeaking floor. What is even funnier, whenever she talks she has this mannerism that she moves her lips like it is being pulled left and right, up and down by a thread hahaha!!! I wonder if she is aware that she is annoying. Does Boy Abunda can really tolerate her? If I were in showbiz, she is one personality I wouldn't want to be friends with because I know she will be criticizing me ... she hates girls who talks like her hahaha. She is almost 40, and her bratty-teenager drama doesn't fit her anymore. Ewww!
here is one video, you might like to watch and let me know if you think Kris acted rudely here:

The Battle of the Rich, the Famous, and the Powerful
All over the newspaper today are the news about the Dela Paz and Pangandaman golf feud and the very controversial Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) against Alabang Boys. I have to say, this country may not be so cheap after all, this is the battle of the privileged.
On a tv interview, Umagang Kay Ganda at channel 2, Bambee dela Paz was trying to imply that they are poor and that they are up against a powerful man who happened to be Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser Pangandaman. I am not a witness to the incident but the way that the two parties told their versions of the story is really exaggerated. This is a simple violation of golf etiquette blown out of proportion and rich people so carried away by their angst. One more thing, Bambee should stop pertaining to their family as poor because that is an insult to the real poor people living in this country. Honey, just so you know, poor people doesn’t play golf, they are not brought to the US to study, they cannot afford Attorney Raymond Fortun to help them bring justice, and they definitely don’t have access to the internet to tell the world about their miserable life. Reality check sweetheart!
I feel so bad for PDEA Director General Dionisio Santiago because the credibility of his agency is being questioned this is with regards to the arrest of the so-called Alabang Boys. PDEA has been working hard despite the controversy regarding the supposed bribery attempt on prosecutors from the Justice department by alleged drug pushers Richard Brodett, Jorge Jordana Joseph, and Joseph Tecson. The boys’ parents denied they are not “that rich” to come up with a 50 million peso bribe to the case prosecutors. For sure they will pull some strings just to get their children out of jail because if this case pursue, and they lost, a life sentence is up ahead. I can’t believe that the Congress has even made a special hearing for this case because these Alabang Boys are in big trouble, politicians shouldn’t involve themselves in this kind of issues because it will tarnish their reputation (as if they have a good one, hehehe!). Johnny Midnight, the father of one the accused says his son is not a drug addict but a social user ... yeah right! When you are poor, you are called a drug addict but when you are rich, you are a social user? Hello!? you must have been taking drugs too! I am so pissed off with DOJ Secretary Gonzalez, please stop picking on PDEA but instead kick the dirty butt of State Prosecutor John Resado, he is really irritating me and the rest of the nation.
This is all I can say, if they are real drug pushers, real drug addicts, and a menace to the society, then let them rot to hell.
